Irrigation filtration system automatic hydraulic self cleaning filter
Applications
The Filtrascale agricultural water filter for drip irrigation have been designed to provide high quality filtration solutions for water containing significant levels of organic material and algae contamination. The high quality and efficient operation of the filtration and backwash mechanisms ensure consistent water supply for the long term.
Components
The filter body is made of epoxy-coated carbon steel. The media for the filters should be in a layer of precisely 400 mm depth, from the bottom up to the “black line” on the yellow sticker.
Operating principle
Water enters the filter via the inlet and spreads equally on the media. Dirt particles and organic materials are trapped on the media surface. The water that passes through, and flows out via the filter elements will be free from dirt. The cleaning backwash process is done by shutting the inlet of the filter with the 3-way backwash valve and open the drainage.
