The vacuum tube solar collector manifold especially for series or parallel connection with vacuum tubes for hot water heating project.

INLIGHT glass tube solar collector is a kind of thermosiphon solar water heating device composed of glass vacuum tubes, non-pressurized manifold and supporting bracket. It works like a small tank non-pressurized solar water heater, cold water flows in to manifold then to every glass tubes, as water in the collector heats, it becomes lighter and rises naturally into the manifold above. So, when cold water flows down into glass tubes the hot water in manifold will flow out from the collector outlet. Since the collector is non-pressurized an air-vent device or pipe must be installed at top of collector loop, although that it is widely used in big solar water heating system because it has many advantages including:
1. It is the most economical solar collector which is widely used in large-scale hot water heating system, supplying hot water for dormitories, hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals, factories, swimming pools, and other places requiring large amount hot water application.
2. Special design with all rights reserved by INLIGHT, the arc-angle manifold makes the manifold with much more stress to strike and expansion.
3. INLIGHT glass tube collector can be connected in series-parallel arrays and used in active or passive solar water heating system with stable and reliable performance.
4. INLIGHT glass tube and manifold is anti-freezing device, the collector can be used in extremely cold area with anti-freezing system design and pipeline insulation.
5. High absorption: αs ≥ 90%, low-emissivity: εh ≤ 8%, daily average thermal efficiency ηd ≥ 50%
6. INLIGHT modularized design makes the collector more adaptable to different architecture structure and locations.
7. The frame is made of aluminum alloy which has no rusty problem in ocean coast weather.
