Overview
HY2 series two direction switch (hereinafter referred to as switch) is mainly used in motor
circuit with AC 50Hz (or 60Hz), the rated working voltage up to 308V and rated working c
urrent up to 60A,which is used as direct on and off single squirrel cage induction and motor
with the function of forward, inversion and stop.
The switch conforms with the standard of GB14048.3 “Two direction switch”.
Usage environmental conditions
1.Altitude:Less than 2000M;
2.Ambient air temperature is within- from -5 ° C to +40 ° C,and the average temperature does not
exceed +35 ° C within 2 hours;
3.Atmospheric conditions: At 40 ° C, the relative atmospheric temperature does not exceed +25 °C,
and the monthly average maximum relative humidity is less than 90%At the same time ,taking into
account the condensation on the product due to changes in humidity ;
4.The tilt with the vertical is not more than ± 5 degrees;
5.In the no dangerous explosion medium, and in the places where the medium does not enough to
corrode metal and destroy the red insulating gas, and the places having the presence of charged dust;
6.The places having rainproof device and not filling with vapor;
7.The places without significant shake, shock and vibration.
The structure characteristics
The switch consists of the handle, the cam and contacts. Cam and the contacts are mounted in a
protective housing.Contacts have 5 pairs , wherein a pair is reversing shared, two are forward witch
controlling the motor .Other two pairs are inversion controlling the motor. The contacts bridge type
double break contacts. Turning handle drives cam to rotate so that the contacts can connect and break.
