our diamond and borazon CBN reamers
are the most advanced of their kind in the industry.
Our products have a long life, lasting two
to four times longer than regular reamers!
The quality of each individual reamer is assured because
Takezawa uses only Japan-made diamond
and borazon CBN powder.
Standard products set to a regular processing hole accuracy
of H7 are available.
Takezawa can also meet even higher accuracy requests
with special made-to-order items.
- Our Products -
Takezawa-Seiki reamers all perform in one round trip (one pass),
which we call single-pass honing.
A maximum roundness of 0.5 μm and a surface roughness
of Rz 0.5 can be attained.
For increased accuracy single-pass processing may be
performed multiple times with different granularity reamers.
- Product Features -
Reamer diameter can be fine-tuned by simply turning
the end adjustment screws to increase the diameter via
the bevel's male and female tilt.
The reduction in the diameter due to the friction
of abrasive grains is compensated for by expanding
the reamer diameter so that the lifetime of abrasive grains
can be extended to its maximum limit.
- Efficacy -
The highly valued extreme hardness of our diamond
and borazon CBN tools have four times the friction resistance
compared to regular grinding stones.
Due to the unique expansion function,
the tool life of Takezawa-Seiki reamers is up to 400%
that of ordinary reamers.

and 16 diameters of diamond and borazon CBN expansion-type
and non-expansion type reamers.
