Introduction of Sliced Almond Production Line
Almonds are rich in protein, fat, carbohydrate, carotene, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin P and calcium, phosphorus, iron and other nutrients. One of the carotenoids content in fruit after mango, people called almond fruit of cancer.Almonds are rich in fatty oil, has the effect of lowering cholesterol, therefore, almond has good effect to preventing cardiovascular system diseases;Traditional Chinese medicine theory is that almonds with thirst quenching, runfei, anti-asthma effect, often used in phlegm-heat type. Take care and treatment in patients with cough, etc. Following the rising demand on many snacks manufacturers, confectionary within the country and oversea market, most of local peanut manufacturers begin to deep processing, hence to increase their competitiveness on international market.
Processing purpose: Almond roasting & sliced production line begins from raw almod through destoning, roasting, split blanching, sorting, slicing and packing, sliced almonds are packed in bulk for sell.
It contains below steps:
Almonds Roasting: for satisfying chopping lien processing purpose, it should adopts multifunctional nut roaster, this roaster can alter low or high temperature by means of electrical control system, the working temperature range is 90-170 Degree Celsius, roasting time is 25-30minutes. The thickness of almond will depend on different processing demand.
Almond Sorting: This section can be designed into two types, one is sorting by manual, another is sorting by mechanical. Un-blanched, imperfect, minor defects, damaged kernels, foreign material will be sorted out.
Metal detector: it is mainly designed to pick out the metal impurities among split blanched peanuts, in order to protect the cutter and keep purity of finished chopped almonds.
Almond Slicing: Almonds is fed by a short belt conveyor to almond slicer, there are equipped with numerous sharp alloy-steel blades inside of almond slicer, under the centrifugal force with high speed, almond is sliced into thin slice.
Sliced almond Packing: sliced almonds are packed into 2-10kg or in bulk. They are ready for going next step process.
