Overview
The working principle of the oval gear flow meter is that a pair of elliptic gears is driven to rotate by liquid. The volume of every cavity is fixed. The revolution speed of the gear is acquired and the sensor sends out sync pulses to count. Then the rotation of the elliptic gear is transmitted to the counter through a magnetic sealed coupler and transmission speed reduction device to directly show the total amount flowing through the flow meter. If the transmitting device and electric display meter are equipped, it may transmit the instantaneous flow rate or cumulative flow rate over a long distance.
Features
The oval gear flow meter is mainly used to measure media of high viscosity. This product is widely applicable in the industries of petroleum, petrochemical engineering, natural gas, chemical engineering, paper-making, etc. which is used to measure and count micro flow rate in small caliber. Advantages:
(1) The caliber ranges within 10~150mm;
(2) There are many shells of various materials for choice, including: aluminum, stainless steel and medium-high pressure stainless steel, PPS, bronze, etc.;
(3) There are many bearings of various materials for choice, including: ceramics, bronze, Hostelry alloy, carbonization, PPS, stainless steel, etc.;
(4) Material of the shaft: 316 stainless steel;
(5) The materials of the O-ring include choices of VITON, floors rubber, stainless steel and Teflon;
(6) Measurement range ratio 10:1, maximum ratio 50:1;
(7) The precision has two types, ±1% and ±0.5%, and the repetitiveness is ±0.03%;
(8) Requirement for straight pipe during installation: 5D 3D, A filter should be installed;
(9) Maximum viscosity may reach 1,000,000CP;
(10) Maximum pressure level may reach 6.3Mpa;
(11) Maximum temperature resistant level may reach -20~400°C;
