WSS-401 Axial Bimetallic Thermometer
WSS series industrial bimetallic thermometers are one kind of field inspection instruments that can be measured the temperature of middle and low range. It can be directly measured the temperature of gas and liquid. Widely used in petroleum, chemistry, shipping, machinery, medicine, electric power etc., it’s a substituted products of the glass thermometers. Industrial bimetallic thermometers are in compliance with national specialized standard ZBN11008-88.
Working principles
Bimetallic thermometers-sensing element changes its shape with the temperature. It drives the needle to rotate and measure the temperature of measured medium.

Installation
Assure accurate measurement, the immersion length of bimetallic thermometers must be more than the length of sensing element (usually immersion length is more than 75mm).
Before use, please check the dates of bimetallic thermometers if they exceed the assurance time (18months). If they are overdue, need to retest.
All kinds of bimetallic thermometers are not suitable to measure the temperature of open container. Bimetallic thermometers with contact point are not suitable for using in the strong vibration place.
In the installation procedure, please force on hexagonal part to screw, don’t turn the indicator head.
If measuring quick flow or strong corrosives medium, please use protective tube.
Transportation and storage:
The protective tube of bimetallic thermometers should avoid vibration and winding in the transportation and storage procedure.
