Ultrasonic water meter
Thanks for using Metter MTW-6 ultrasonic water meter ,This product adopts ultrasonic time difference algorithms for continuous measurement, memory and display the volume of water flowing through the measuring sensor. Please read this instructions before using product to use it correctly.
Product Features :
Will not be influenced by impurity, chemical and magnetic materials in the medium;
Measuring mechanism doesn’t have any parts ,no wear , and the measurement accuracy is not affected by the use of time.
Install in Horizontal or vertical
Minimal pressure loss
Using German detection chip GP21,time measurement accuracy can be 22 psec.
Meets the requirement as per GB/T778-2007 Measuring of water flow in closed full pipeline drinking cold water meter and hot water meter and JJG 162-2009 Verification regulation of cold water meter

Installing and using
² Before installing,flush pipes prevent stones and other debris in the pipe
² Install valve,Filter,and suggest to install check valve(see below picture ) to prevent the water flow impact measurement;(if the connecting pipe has already installed the check valve ,it won’t install check valve any more.
² When install the water meter vertically ,should make sure the direction of fluid flow from the bottom to the top
² Heat meters installation should pay attention to direction of the arrow with the same direction of fluid flow
² Joint gasket should be installed upright to prevent blocking the flow of water by gasket dislocation and affect the accuracy of measurement of heat meters;
² Heat meters should not be installed in a position where is strongly influenced by mechanical shocks;
² The installation process can not pull the product exposed wires , non-tossing, and should allow sufficient space for maintenance;
² When install the heat meters ,there should be 5 times straight pipe length in front and 3 times straight pipe length in the behind
² Installation Example
² Heat meter detection, must wait for flashing of the detection arrow
² Water meter per second to refresh the display, when detect meter, the valve should be closed at least 16 seconds before the reading (including the initial value and the end value), otherwise it will affect the detection results
² During test and using, please ensure that the media flow in the flow range of this heat meters, or it will cause damage to heat meters;
² Products using wired remote communication,the connection must be in accordance with the requirements of connecting Identification.
² During using, if there is abnormal problem (such as measurement is not working, etc.), please contact the relevant administrative departments, not to self-maintenance;
² Product design with disposable tamper-evident seal, unauthorized persons can’t remove it, or you will lose the right to get free service

² Specialized recycling sector: Users can deliver a complete product to the specialized recycling sector in countries or in regions, with the disposal
recommended list of materials.
² Dealing with in Metter : Users can deliver the product to Metter, Metter will dispose the recycles in free.
² Dealing with by users: split material per the disposal recommended list of materials, After splitting ,the parts of product should be recycled by the specified recycling sector in countries or in regions
