The product MR-500D is a portable fingerprint reader device 5-in-1. The device integrates a semiconductor fingerprint reader, contact IC card reader and contactless IC card reader, magnetic strip card. The product has the following features:
1) Single hardware interface: the hardware interface applies either RS232 interface or USB interface.
2) Strong functionality: the product integrates the semiconductor fingerprint module, contact IC card reader and contactless IC card reader.
3) Easy to use: the device can be integrated easily with fingerprint module, plus contact IC card reader or contactless IC card reader. The drive can be adapt itself and used as plug-in machine.
4) Easy to maintenance: it is possible to be maintained remotely with few instructions.
2. Fingerprint module description
2.1 Functional description
- The fingerprint module obtains the certification from China Financial Certification Authority and the Ministry of public security.
- The sensor of fingerprint module is made from capacitor fingerprint reader. It has the functionality to identify living finger.
- The main parts of fingerprint module follow the industrial standard.
- The fingerprint module has the function of fingerprint image acquisition, image processing, feature extraction, feature storage and fingerprint matching.
- The fingerprint module works very stable and consistence with different devices.
- The fingerprint module deals good with dry finger, we finger, broken finger or dirty finger. The fingerprint matches smoothly in each case.
- The fingerprint module SDK can be based on Unix, Linux or Windows platforms.
- The demo software SDK has the details with detailed notes and supplementary explanation.
