Principle
High efficiency heat sink
As the mist droplet diameter is very small, the relative surface area is 1700 times larger than the general
water, it can completely evaporate in the fire. The latent heat of vaporization of 100 DEG C water is
2257KJ per Kg, however, the water mist sprayed by each nozzle can absorbing about 300Kw power heat,
from which we can see its high absorption rate and strong cooling effect.
Asphyxia
Water mist is sprayed into the scene, quickly evaporated to form steam, and rapidly expand to exclude
the air, building a barrier to stop inhaling fresh air around the combustion. When the oxygen
concentration around reduce to a certain level, the flame will be extinguished, asphyxia.
Blocking radiant heat
After water mist is sprayed into the fire, evaporated steam quickly envelop combustion, flame and smoke
plume, which can excellently block thermal radiation on flame, so that it can effectively inhibit the radiant
heat ignition around other items, to prevent the spread of flame effect.
