What’s steel fiber?

 

Steel fibres are filaments of wire, deformed and cut to lengths, for reinforcement of concrete, mortar, cement slurry and other composite materials. They have anti-crack, anti-bend, anti-wear, anti-shear, anti-twist, anti-fatigue,stretching resistance, abrasion resistance characters. Widely be used in industry, military,construction, machinery, metallurgy, petrifaction, pottery areas.

How to use?

 

1.To put steel fiber and mixing stuff into mixer to mix 30---60 seconds, the steel fiber will distribute equally in mixing stuff to avoid agglomerate.

2.Then to put sand and concrete into mixer to mix 30—60 seconds.

3.Finally to add water into the mixer to turn and mix 2-3minutes.

4.To transport them to working place.

 

Caution:

 

To minimize the risk of minor injury when handling or finishing mixes containing steel fibers, gloves should be worn. Gloves of similar quality to those normally worn by concrete placing and finishing crews are adequate. The use of gloves and eye protection during loading of steel fibers to mixer is recommended.
