INST 1535-1560nm EDFA module
1. OVERVIEW:
INST’s EDFA module has been widely used in Ultra high speed optical system, 10G transmission channel in DWDM systems and many scientific research experiments. Also, it can be used to amplify the continuous and pulsed optical signal in fiber optic sensors and boost the output optical power. INST’s EDFA support either 980nm pumps or 1480nm pumps and AGC,ACC or APC control modes. The EDFA module is provided in a compact package and exhibits very good features in stability and reliability. INST’s EDFA module can be provided in different wave bands to satisfy the requirements of many customers, such as C-Band, L-Band and C+L Band.
INST’s EDFA can be easily integrated onto a communication system and can be provided in varieties of sizes. The EDFA module is driven by a power supply of DC5V, and supports user defined output power value and read the dynamic operational parameters of module through RS232 serial port communications with host computer.
