Francis turbine/ Horizontal/Vertical francis turbine

Francis turbine is a kind of turbine suit to water head 20-300meters and with certain suitable flow.

It could be divided into vertical and horizontal arrangement. Francis turbine have the advantage of high efficiency, small size and reliable structure.

Horizontal Francis turbine unit, with horizontal shaft, could be 2 or three supports. Which is normally one stair arrangement. Simple structure, easier operation and maintainence.

Vertical Francis turbine unit, with vertical shaft, metal spiral case or concrete spiral case. With adjustable guide vane, and stay ring etc parts, are suit to runner diameter bigger than 1000mm. Our engineer will select the most suitable Francis turbine for your hydro power project.

Pelton turbine

Kaplan turbine

Kaplan turbine is a kind of turbine suit to low water head 3-45 meters, and with certain big flow, normally divided into fixed blades and adjustable blades turbine.  The spiral case could be steel or concrete.

Turbine units normally be vertical shaft arrangement. Generator equipped with same or different shaft, with Anyway, they will share the same rotating speed. If specially required, a speed increase gear could be equipped between turbine and generator in order to smaller the generator size.

Tubular turbine

Tubular turbine has been divided into Bulb tubular and shaft extension tubular according to the arrangement.Main components including: runner, draft cone, water chamber, guide vane, bearing, and main shaft. The spiral case could be steel or concrete. 

Turbine units normally be horizontal shaft arrangement. Generator equipped with same or different shaft, with Anyway, they will share the same rotating speed. If specially required, a speed increase gear could be equipped between turbine and generator in order to smaller the generator size

Turgo turbine

Turgo turbine is a type of Impulse turbine need less water head than Pelton turbine, transfers the water dynamic energy through the nozzle, impact on the Turgo runner, and then drive the generator transfer to electrical energy. The main different between Turgo turbine and Pelton turbine is the angle of runner center line and jet center line.Turgo turbine designed as horizontal simple structure, less investment, high efficiency, and reliable long service life.

Inlet valve

Valve: Lies between turbine and pressure pipe. It stops or cuts off water when the maintain the unit or failure happens at the governor, guide apparatus and turbine. The turbine can be used with Sluice valve,

 Butterfly valve and Ball valve. 

Speed governor

Governor is important assistant device of the hydro-generator unit. It can adjust water inlet flow of turbine according with the generator load variety, equate the turbine output suitable for the load, keep the unit speed at approximate value of the rated speed, thereby, the generator frequency can be consistent with the power net. The types of the governor are manual, manual electromotion and automatism.

At present, we main adopt the automatic governor and give priority to The Digital Programmable Governor(High Oil Pressure type)

Excitation Device and Control Device

Excitation device provides D.C current for rotor excitation winding to produce magnetic field. It retains

 extreme voltage with rated value and reasonably distributes wattless power of parallel operating generator. Static stability of the generator can be advanced by fast regulating excitation during the disturbance occuring in the power system. Dynamic stability of the power systems can be improved depending on swift

 response together with high top-excitation-multiple and excitation forced decreasing after short circuit 

switch off when the power system happens short or main power off.

At present, there are three types of excitation method, they are D.C excitation, silicon excitation and brushless excitation. There are three types of excitation operation method: manual operation, automatic operation and computer control operation.
