Slurry seal course refers to the asphalt surface treatment thin course that is the slurry mixture is evenly paved on the pavement based on required thickness and width, which contains emulsified asphalt as binder and is added with a certain proportional powder (cement, lime, coal ash, mineral powder, etc.), agent and water and such materials, and then is mixed and made.

The pits cold-patching material mixing process is roughly the same as the mixing of slurry seal mixture, after which the composite material of cement and emulsified asphalt formed a network structure and combined the aggregates firmly. Thus the mixture has sufficient strength and high temperature stability. It can overcome the defects of asphalt concrete and cement concrete in terms of thermal stability and hard brittleness as well as have good compact, dens, wear- resistant and anti-stripping performance.
