Selection of the Maintenance switch

The maintenance switch is an enclosed main switch with emergency-off function for an individual electrical load circuit or motors, connecting kinds of electric loads. The switches, which have high strength durable plastic enclosures, are intended for surface mounting or attachment to machines. The enclosure is equipped with entry knockouts and designed with extra space for easy wiring. The enclosures are suitable for applications in an aggressive environment, such as oil, chemical substances and grease, etc. Owing to the installation closed to the motor or the load circuit, each operator can protect himself against unintentional and uncontrolled switching-on of the machine or installation by fixing his padlock (3 max.) For a correct type selection it is important to determine a type according to the switching capacity, cable cross section, size of enclosure and knockouts are essential factors for the selection of the suitable Switch.
