Cam Swith with Protective Enclosure (IP65), is supplied with IP65, high strength durable plastic protective enclosure, We provide two construction sizes for selection. Bigger enclosure is only suit for M2 size escutcheon of Cam switch, smaller enclosure is only suit for M1 size escutcheon of Cam switch. The function of the product is intended for surface mounting or attachment to machines. The enclosure is equipped with entry knockouts and designed with extra space for easy wiring. The enclosures are suitable for applications in an aggressive environment, such as oil, chemical substances and grease, etc. Owing to the installation closed to the motor or the load circuit, each operator can protect himself against unintentional and uncontrolled swithing-on of the machine or installation by fixing his padlock (3 max.). For a correct type selection it is important to determine a type according to the switching capacity, cable cross section, size of enclosure and knockouts are essential factors for the selection of the suitable switch.
The principle applications of Cam Operated Rotary Switches are for making, breaking and isolation of power circuits and switching the circuits. Cam switch are suitable for AC as well as DC application used for virtually all purposes, such as motor control, panel meter switching, control and distribution panel, etc.
