Cam switch are suitable for AC as well as DC application used for virtually all purposes, such as motor control, panel meter switching, control and distribution panel, etc.

Selection of the Main Switch
Main Switch are OFF-ON switches to isolate the power to a particular area of operation. According to IEC/EN60204 or VDE0113, all electrical equipments of industrial machines must be equipped with a Main Switch. This must permit disconnection of all the electrical equipment during cleaning, maintenance and repair work, and other extended periods when is stationary. Main Switch can be used for switching and controlling main circuits, motor OFF-ON and other special application circuits, such as illimination equipments, heating equipments and motors. Their high OFF-ON ability ensure the work reliability of frequently making and breaking.
