Aluminum wire rod steel-reinforced cable (ACSR cable) is a specific type of high-capacity, high-strength stranded cable typically used in overhead power lines. The outer strands are aluminum, chosen for its excellent conductivity, low weight and low cost. The center strand is of steel for the strength required to support the weight without stretching the aluminum due to its ductility. This gives the cable an overall high tensile strength.
These products meet standards of GB, IEC, BS, DIN/VDE, ASTM, JIS, NF, AS/NZS, CSA and so on. Meanwhile we can produce according to customers' requirements and specifications.
1. Applications
AAAC,AAC,ACSR,AACSR,ACSR/AW Conductors have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels,because they have such good characteristics as simple structure,convenient installation and maintenance,low cost large transmission capacity.And they are also suitable for laying across rivers valleys and the places where special geographical features exist.
