Wire Straightener - AS / AD Type (AS = Single Plane / AD = Dual Plane)
• Mainly used on drawing machines
• Single and dual plane straightener models
• Eccentric roller open/closing device (lever)
• From 5 ~ 13 rollers per group (5, 7, 9, 11, 13) or (5+5, 7+7, 9+9, 11+11,13+13)
• Roller diameters 13 ~ 80 mm (0.5" ~ 3.15")
• Adjustable rollers on the upper row
• Rollers available for light or heavy duty applications
• Model AS/AD for wire R = 60 N/mm² (8400 psi) max. with normal rollers (single or double bearing)
• Model AS/AD - CAW for wire R = 60 N/mm² (8400 psi) to R = 220 N/mm² (313 000 psi) with double roller bearing construction and separate hardened-steel sleeve, 62~63 HrC
• Rollers are standard "V" groove profiles but can be provided with "U" grooves according to customer requirements

On Service Life and Warranty
•The standard wire staightening roller is constructed with single row deep groove ball bearings and double row angular contact ball bearings, the normal material is high grade high carbon chrome steel ( AISI52100, DIN 100Cr6 ), the hardness is 58~62 HRC.
•C&H also supply straightening roller made by alloy steel Cr12MnV, with vaccum heat treatment, it supply three times using life than standard roller and better performance.
Straightener Accessory
C&H supplies a variety of straightener accessories for ease of set-up and “repeatability” of settings. For example: rollers, locking levers, guide pulleys, feeder...
Except wire straigthener, C&H also supply tube straighteners, wire guides, tube guides, tube feeders and wire feeders or drive units, cable straighteners, strip straighteners, flatwire straighteners, custom built feeding machines, straightening rolls , preformers or preform heads , sleeve rolls for high speed and high temperature applications, computerized wire straightener and tube straightener adjustment systems.
