Brief Introduction

  Our gas emergency shut-off solenoid valve is the gas pipe safety emergency shut-off device, which could be connected with home gas leak detection system, firefighting system and other intelligent alarm system to cut off gases supply when gas accident occurred. The valve shall be closed automatically when the harmful strong vibration is happened. The valve only can be opened again by manually that confirms to safety management regulation.

Principle:

  The valve uses interaction of instantaneous electromagnetic force, permanent magnetic and spring to open and close valve, mover, it will keep open and close.

Operating Instructions:

1. 1. There are two ways to close the valve when it is opening:

A: Providing an instantaneous (about 1 second) DC pulse (D C 9 V ~1 2 V) power to electromagnetic coil.

B: Open the protection cover; pressure the red handle can also close the valve.

Caution: Under normal circumstances users should not open the dust cap, to avoid disoperation.

1. 2. There are one way to open the valve when it is closing: pull up the red handle, and it will keep opening.

Caution: If it is difficult to pull up the red handle, please keep the pressure of valve import and export keep balance. Brutal operation can destroy it.

1. 3. In the open state:  adopting magnetic lock principle, so in the case of strong vibrations, the valve may be closed automatically, it is normal. If the valve opening self-locking force is abnormal (too small), please ask the manufacturers to repair.
2. 4. When the valve closed emergency, people must ensure it is safely before opening it again.
3. 1. The valve intallation unit should be qualified and strictly observe the related construction specifications for gas pipeline.
4. 2. In order to examine and repair, the valve needs to be installed after the indoor installation of intake valve.
5. 3. The intallation should be in accordance with the airflow direction which is indicated on the valve body. The coil of valve body cannot stand upside down. Both horizontal and vertical installation is allowed.
6. 4. The control line of solenoid valve should be linked correctly and reliably. The control line is polar. The red line is positive plate. The black line is neglective plate. The line is not allowed to access anti-line.
7. 5. In order to avoid sundries in the pipeline damaging the sealing material, when blowing the pipeline, you'd better segregate the solenoid valve or you can blow the pipeline in advance, and then intall the solenoid valve.
8. 6. Before testing pipeline pressure’s sealing performance, please keep the valve in opening state
9. 7. When open the valve by hand, please keep valve’s import and export pressure in balance.
10. 8. When closing it electrically please don’t connect power wrong to damage electromagnetic coil, such as: connecting wrong polarity, pressure or electricity for a long time.
11. 9. If improper storage and illegal construction caused the valve damage, missing parts, it does not belong to free repair

Wiring requirement:

l Cable: use two-wired terminal crimping method. (2 x 0.5mm²)

l Control distance: capacitor discharge driving way: the length of wire is less than 30 meter.
