Construction:
ACSR is a composite concentric-lay-stranded conductor with anti-vibration function. Galvanized steel strand or strands form the central core of the conductor. The combination of the aluminum and steel in the conductor design offer efficient conductivity and high tensile strength, making ACSR the most economical solution for overhead power transmission and distribution projects.
Application
It is widely used in overhead power transmission lines with various voltage levels.
It has the advantages as high mechanical strength, good conductivity, corrosion resistance, easy to be setted up, high temperature resistance, simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, large transmission capacity and is also suitable for laying across rivers and valleys where special geographical features exist.
