Product Description

 

FiberHome S2200ME-PAF series products are newly-released carrier Ethernet PoE (Power over Ethernet) switches. Including 8/16/24 electrical ports(10/100M) with PoE function and 2 combo ports (SFP or 1000M electrical port). Besides wire-speed forwarding, QinQ, VLAN-based service control, ACL, multicast, QoS functions, the S2200ME-PAF also support IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at PoE standards, it supplies power to IP telephones, wireless LAN Access Points, webcams and other connected appliances via LAN cabling as well as data. With visualized graphical interface management system, enables cluster management, and flexible PoE strategy, the S2200ME-PAF

series PoE switches address various access requirements in broadband network.

     S2200ME-PAF series Ethernet switches support PoE(Power over Ethernet) technology, allow IP telephones, wireless LAN Access Points, webcams and many other connected appliances to receive power as well as data over existing LAN cabling, without needing to use the additional power supply that facilitate the network deployment and management.

     The S2200ME-PAF complies with both IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at international standards, enable supplying power with network terminals which 15.4W power per port, and 30W power in maximum.

 

Powerful control ability for user access

 

     The S2200ME-PAF supports 802.1x, which requests identification authentication when subscriber accesses network and offers remote function testing and trouble-shooting. It enables the user

access limitation via MAC address number, support MAC address and port-based binding, maximally ensure the validity of user access.

     The S2200ME-PAF enables port/VLAN based rate limiting function, support rate control over ingress/egress port with the minimal granularity of 64Kbps, which contribute to prevent malicious action from occupying network bandwidth.

     The S2200ME-PAF provides 4K active 802.1Q VLANs, support SVLAN, PVLAN, together with traffic flow based priority tagging, QoS priority re-mapping based on user requirement, which greatly

guarantee the user experience to IPTV/VoIP etc. delay sensitive services.

 

 

Profound multicast duplication functionality

 

     The S2200ME-PAF supports 1K multicast group and versatile layer2 multicast protocols, such as single VLAN, multi-VLAN based IGMP Snooping, IGMP Filter, IGMPFast-Leave, etc.

    The S2200ME-PAF supports inter-VLAN multicast duplication, port-based multicast rate limiting & flow  traffic statistics, which fully meet the operation requirement for IPTV/VOD service.

 

 

High reliability

 

     The S2200ME-PAF supports STP/RSTP protocols, and also introduce innovative technologies including ESR Ethernet ring protection that make assure 200ms recovery. It enables service operator to protect multi-type network topology more flexibly, and ensures the reliable operation over entire

network as well.

 

Advanced QoS strate g y and safety mechanism

 

     The S2200ME-PAF supports 4 queues based priority scheduling, enable service differentiation, flow classification, flow-based strategy, port-based/flow-based mirroring function, which ensures both wire-speed forwarding over every port under any combined condition and high-quality access for NGN/IPTV/broadband access services.

     The S2200ME-PAF providesARP anti-attack function, CPU protection, and user safety, etc. They support 1K ACL items, MAC table item control, port based separation, and packet filtering, etc. technologies that make operator's network more intelligent and safety.
