Applications:
Water pipe temperature warming cable belt ,this type is also called self regulating heat tracing cable.which is a light construction grade self-regulatiing heating tape that may be used forfreeze protection,or low temperature maintenance of pipework and vessels.
Selling point:Explosion - proof metal braid cover the heating cable ,the outer sheath is FEP material strengh shenth that can be used in hazardous,danger ,explosion ,corrosion area.
Function:
Self-regulating heating tapes consist of two parallel buswire.embedded in a semi-conductive self-regulating matrix.this means that the heating cable automatically rsponds to changes in ambient temperature.
With increase in temperature,the synthetic material exponds by molecular force,and the connectionc between the carbon particles diminish,reducing the nversely,as the temperature decreases,the load increase as the connections between the carbon particles increases accordingly.
Thus the heating power varies according to the temperature of the surface the heating cable is applied to .
Self regulating heating tape will not overheat or burnout even when overlapped
