Specifications
This machine is used to grind screw rods for air compressors.
With the SIEMENS 840D CNC controlling system, the machine can easily and effectively obtain 3 axes in linkage out of 7 axes and various movements, such as rotating of workpiece, reciprocating of worktable, feeding of wheel stock, movement of dresser in two directions, and automatic revolving of wheel stock.
The thread movement is fulfilled by interpolation movements of 2 servo motors, one of which driving workpiece and the other of which driving worktable.
The main parts of the machine are all rested upon the cast iron frame, with main controlling mechanism at front of the machine. Plastic-coated sliding guides are adopted for worktable and wheel carriage.
On rotary drum of wheel stock rests wheel spindle, which is driven by SIEMENS servo motor (18.5kw).
The CNC wheel dresser is able to dress grinding wheels fit to grind screw rod of air compressor.
High precision ball screws, including the master screw and cross feeding screw, together with imported bearings used on ball screws and working spindle, guarantee a high work accuracy and sound reliability as well.
A special imported grinding wheel with large pores is employed, realizing a high-rate grinding capability.
Cooling of the machine is in a mode of mass flow and high pressure coolant injection technique.
A fully-closed shield and electrostatic air cleaner greatly improve working environment by reducing oil mist and increasing indoor light.
