SK6520 CNC worm milling machine is equipped Fagor (Spain) 8055i CNC system, 3 of 4 N.C. controlled axes perform the linkage motion.
It is mainly applied for milling the various cylindrical worm shafts (profile: ZA, ZI, ZK, ZN, etc.) within the diameter of 200 mm, the length of 750 mm. Also, it can be applied for milling the steering worm shaft, ballscrew shaft and ACME screw shaft. And chamfering incomplete teeth on the start and end sides of a worm shaft.
The workpiece is clamped between headstock (a set of high precision hydraulic floating chucks) and tail stock, and supported by the central tray. Thus, high positioning accuracy is obtained. Cutting spindle is driven by a frequencyspindlemotor, stepless speed adjustment can be achieved, and high cutting efficiency is obtained with the cutting velocity up to 200 m/min.
The whole machine base is in “T” profile. The main working parts are assembled on the working table. The working table is moved on the rails of bed in longitudinal way, milling carriage is moved on the rails on the rear base in cross way. The console is placed in the front of the machine, with main control buttons assembled on it for the convenience operation.
The helix angle shifting is performed by the helix angle swivel axis driven by a Fagor servo motor and a high precision worms. It is easy adjusting and high positioning accuracy.
The equipped Fagor 8055i has the friendly user’s interface for programming. It controls wheel stock rotations, working table travel, cross feed of the milling cutter carriage.
High precision key parts, bearings, ballscrews are imported from the advanced countries. The fully closed hood with plastic coated is applied for the cleaning working environment. Automatic chiprentoval system, independent hydraulic system, independent timing lubrication, and chilling system are also equipped.
The machine and accessories are well packed inside one(or more) fumigated wooden seaworthy package.
