Optical Platform OPTIVO Optical Platform 4U 16 modules dual power supply
Overview
OPTIVO optical platform is an intelligent optical platform with high density and high reliability, which is specially designed for the head-end computer room and sub head-end computer room of HFC network transmission center room. 4U standard rack provides 16 slots for application modules, including forward optical transmitter module(TFT1000E), forward optical receiver module(TFR1000E), reverse optical transmitter module(TRT1000E), reverse optical receiver module(TRR1000E),preamplifier module(TFA1000E) and 1550 EDFA module(TOA1000E), 1550 directly modulated optical transmitter module(TFT1550E),optical switch module(TOS1000E),RF switch module(TRS1000E). All application modules can be hot-plugged and follow national standards, SCTE HMS and IEC Network Management System to achieve intelligent management.
Unique designs include cooling air ducts of platform rack, cooling sinks of application modules and cooling fans have been systematically designed to ensure that OPTIVO optical platform has excellent heat dissipation. Each fan’s status and every module’s temperature are monitored respectively. Besides ,each fan could be exchanged on line.
Two mutual hot backup power supply modules are at the two sides of the chassis’s top, don’t take up the position of application modules slots, dual power supply hot backup(auto switch) work, which greatly improves its reliability; the 1U partial space on the top is the center control unit.
Unique groove-oriented design, which makes a much smoother application modules insert and pull, avoiding the equipment failure caused by inaccurate contraposition to poor contact between application modules and rack.
Adopt very-low power consumption design, greatly improve the reliability and worktime. All modules(including power supply module) and fans support monitoring in real time, increased all kinds of control functions, support local and remote monitoring.
All modules support upgraded on line smoothly, the normal operation don’t stop while upgrading, don’t need re-adjust and re-test the modules yet.
Fully conformed to the national standard, SCTE HMS and IEC network management functions, Ethernet network management interface achieves local and remote monitoring.

n Optical interface and RF testing port are on the front panel, RF main output ports are on the back panel, and all of them have corresponding test ports.
n All application modules have indicators on the front panels, visual show whether the modules work properly
n Fiber care function front panel optional, both enhance the deauty and the convenience.
