GDCBT400W serious EoC slave with WiFi function
- Brief
GDCBT400W serious EoC slave with WIFI(based at AR7411 chip) is the terminal device of coaxial cable bi-directional access system, offer 4 Ethernet interfaces, and wireless WiFi function. The transmission way is point-point among master and salve, the transmission speed still be fast even if a few people use at the same time.
The salve re-modulate the signal from the master to relative low-speed parallel data stream, then combine several parallel data stream into a high-sped serial data stream. Finally, deciphering the data to the standard Ethernet signal for the user’s data terminal unit(PC, IPTV STB, VoIP gateway, etc).
WiFi function complies with IEEE802.11B/G/N protocol, support IEEE802.11i, IEEE802.11e, to link together with other WiFi devices which complies with the standard too, support the latest 64/128 bits WEP data encryption, support WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK,WPA/WPA2 security mechanism, wireless transmission rate is up to 150Mbps.
- The slave support remote management, operate the master through SNMP/WEB to manage and set the salve. Offer 320Mbps access bandwidth on the coaxial network, occupy 7.5MHz-65MHz low-frequency band, to avoid the impact with the existing frequency of CATV system and reduce the interference of each other. Support the existing tree and star type CATV network, have the advantages of long distance transmission, good network adaptability, and high bandwidth.

l High spectrum efficiency, spectrum efficient is nearly doubled than serial system. This is an important competitive in the environment of limited cable TV transmission spectrum resources. The OFDM signal in adjacent sub-carriers overlap with each other, in theory, has reached the limit of its spectrum utilization
l Strong anti-interference, stable performance, and the OFDM system, the data distributed to a number of sub-carriers, greatly reducing the symbol rate, thereby weakening the effects of multipath propagation, if more by using a cyclic prefix as the guard intervalmethods, even the inter-symbol interference can be completely eliminated
l According to the status of CATV network, auto select the best mode method and frequency to transmit data, improve the system's utilization
l Install easily, it is only need to connect the CATV signal line to salve’s F connector, connect RJ45 interface to data terminal unit
