Medium Frequency Capacitor (Air cooled/ water cooled capacitor)

 Application:

Medium Frequency Capacitor (Air cooled/ water cooled capacitor) is mainly used in controlled or adjustable A. C. voltage system with nominal voltage not more than 4kV and frequency 200 kHz and under, specifically used to improve the power factor or circuit characteristic of equipments for induction heating, melting, mixing, casting, and similar applications.

Medium Frequency Capacitor (Air cooled/ water cooled capacitor) is composed of core and trunk cover, between which is filled with high quality infiltration. The core is welded with cooling water pipes, which are used for cooling capacitor. PP film roughening dipped in high performance liquid is used as composite dielectric and high-purity aluminum foil as battery lead plate. The enclosure is rectangle aluminum alloy fuel tank equipped with water-cooled tube.

1) Main technical characteristics

1. The Medium Frequency Capacitor (Air cooled/ water cooled capacitor) Electric heating capacitor is accordance with GB/T3984.1< Electric heat capacitors for induction heating installations> Part 1: General (equivalent to IEC60110.1).

2. Between two terminals:10 seconds under 2.0Un(VAC)or 4.0Un(DC);Between case and terminal:10 seconds Under 2.15Un,lowest voltage=2000V;

3. Capacitance Tolerance: -5%-+10%

4. Capacitance tangent of the loss angle: tgδ≤0.0008. (Power frequency rated voltage)

 

5.Over voltage capacity:Under 1.05Un≤12hours in every 24hours;Continuous over current capability:1.15In under rated VAC;

6.Discharge resistor inside(if need to have):decrease to ≤50V in 5minutes after cut capacitor from 

system;

7.Rated current frequency:50Hz or 60Hz;

8.Insulation resistance,water cooling pipe inside case and insulator on terminals

 

 

2) Service condition

1. Sea level elevation≤1000m.

2. Ambient temperature: -40°C~+45°C

3. Residual voltage ≤10% Un when power on again.

4. Entrance water pressure≤0.3MPa, entrance water temperature≤30°C, cooling water's flow≥6L/min,soft water of no impurities,PH:6~9.
