Superior property

of fire-resistance

It is able to withstand the harsh test of fire, around 1000 °C flame, for max.240 minutes keeping integrity & insulation, and stop the quick spreading of flame and smoke. It can protect people & high-valued articles temporarily from the threat of fire and win the most precious period for people to escape, move away the high-valued articles and extinguish the fire. It solved the problem of poor fire-resistance of ordinary glass sheets (whose softening & melting point is only about 600~700°C) in buildings. As illustrated in the pictures below.

Structure &

Scientific principle

Composed of 2 (or more) layers of glass sheet with injected high-tech nano-Si fire-resistant gum (later become transparent solid in a few hrs) into the insulation space between the glass sheets. When fire faces the glass, the solid gum, a kind of nonflammable substance, will gradually foam and carbonize absorbing the heat, and finally form a protection sheet of high heat-isolation property against the fire. Thus it can prevent the heat of fire from spreading quickly to the other side. The key performances of integrity (not broken) & insulation (protecting the temperature rise on the back side not to exceed a certain degree) of the glass within a few hrs can then be assured.

High-impact performance

It can withstand the vertical hit of a 1 Kg steel ball falling freely from 1 meter height, and separately, the side hit a 45 Kg ball of lead bullets from 1.2 meter height, without broken. Its performance is 5~10 times higher than that of ordinary flat glass sheets.

Superior safety

In case of being broken, the glass sheet will change into thousands of tiny pieces without acute angles. Thus no injuries to the body of human beings can be caused.
