Plastic optical fiber has been widely used in the industrial control for more than 15 years in Profibus, process control and digital control, etc. As Profibus, Interbus, Control Net and Sercos using POF as transmission medium, in the electromagnetic interference, signal demanding industrial control environment, through the converter, POF can connect RS232, RS422, 100Mbps Ethernet and token network interface. Thus in bad industrial manufacturing environment to provide a stable and reliable communication lines, high-speed transmission industrial control signal and instructions, to avoid the metal cable that will have electromagnetic interference, resulting in danger of communication interrupt.
