The Artoshka provides the visual indication of standby mode with red LED flashing.

Going to the Fire mode:

-  Internal sounder turns on (90 dB min sound output);

-   Red LED flashes with frequency not less than 1 Hz.

 

The Artoshka is 9 V battery powered.  The powering should last more than one year,and when the battery reaches the end of its normal life a low battery warning (intermittent beeping and LED flashing) will indicate the need for the battery replacement.
