Energy Saving Steam Accumulator for EPS
1. Brief introduction of steam accumulator
A Steam accumulator is an insulated steel pressure tank containing hot water and steam under pressure. It is a type of energy storage device. It can be used to smooth out peaks and troughs in demand for steam.
Steam accumulator is suitable for steam capacity fluent system, such as unstable steam consumption, uncontinuous steam source, and unstable steam flow. And for the situation need to store steam for steam providing at any time.
2. Advantage feature of steam accumulator
For the boiler model confirmation, we often make the decision according to the largest thermal load. The fluent of thermal load can only be adjusted by combustion of the boiler, this increase the investment and make the boiler always operate in an low load condition, this make the boiler efficiency is lower and not economical.
Stable steam capacity adjustment: If the boiler system is equipped with steam accumulator device, we select the boiler just according to the average steam capacity needed. The fluent steam capacity can be getting from the adjustment of steam accumulator device.
Large steam capacity for the whole system: Also, some time, because of production extension, we just need to add a steam accumulator to increase the steam capacity of the whole system. Low investment, but we can make full use of the whole steam capacity of the boiler to achieve energy saving effect.
Good energy saving effect and reliable operation: After install steam accumulator device on the boiler system, the boiler operation is more stable, and the combustion condition is much better. The steam supply is much stable. Steam accumulator has been a high efficient energy saving device. After using steam accumulator device, the fuel can save 3%-20%, and when the boiler is stopped, the steam accumulator can also provide steam as an emergency resolution to make sure the production still work.
