- CM Flow meters (India) Pvt. Ltd., is engaged in design, manufacture and marketing of Variable Area Flow meters (Rota meters). The Company manufactures rota meters for industrial applications in the chemical and allied industries and for scientific applications in laboratories. The Company also manufactures rota meters for use in anesthesia machines. The office and factory is situated at Plot 2, Phase III, Kasba Industrial Estate, Calcutta 700 107.
- Rota meters are simple, general purpose, direct reading instruments. These are used wherever a reliable, sensitive, repeatable indication of instantaneous flow rate of a liquid or gas inside a pipeline or tubing is required for process control, or other purposes. This instrument is essentially a vertical, mounted, tapered, and calibrated glass tube with a float inside it.
- A range of rota meter types is manufactured by the Company to meet the special requirements of industrial and scientific customers, for use with a wide range of liquids and gases. This includes glass and stainless steel metering tubes as well as Bypass Rota meters for measuring relatively large flow rates.
- The Company anesthetic rota meters give a highly accurate and reliable indication of gas flow rates in anesthesia machines. The anesthetic rota meters meters generally conform to Indian and International Standard specifications for Continuous Flow Inhalation Anesthetic Apparatus (Anesthetic Machines) for Use with Humans, i.e. ISO 5358. CM Flow meters (India) Pvt. Ltd. products bear the brand "CM", which enjoys a very good market reputation.
