Product Description
it is a braided packing made of Aramid fiber. This packig can bear higher-pressure applications than other types of braided packings. Due to its steel-like strength, this yarn can be employed separately or as back-up rings with other types of packing.
aramid braided packing covers all the service ranges which asbestos packing provides and even much better. It affords longer service life under severe conditions which conventional asbestos packing can not provide satisfaction, such as sand slurry, tin mining, paper slurry, feed water pump of power stations, etc.
Application
This is a universal packing which can be used for pumps in all types of industry.
Chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and sugar industries, pulp and paper mills, etc.
A durable packing able to withstand granular and abrasive applications
Features
It is wear resistant but may damage the shaft if not used properly.
A minimum shaft hardness of 60HRC is therefore recommended.
