iOLM	Intelligent Optical Link Mapper Base Software [Notes] ! OTDR base software will be the one included by Default if no base software is specified when ordering. IMPORTANT - iOLM will be delivered with an APC interface. APC interface on an iOLM and OTDR ensures maximum measurement efficiency. UPC connectors are prone to be highly reflective if dirty or worn. Reflectance of the unit connector will dramatically limit the performance of the measurement. Worn UPC will create a permanent degradation of the unit capabilities until the output connector is replaced. APC interface can handle wearing and dirt without being highly reflective. Testing a UPC network doesn’t require a UPC OTDR, simply use a APC-UPC test jumper .
