Steel Putty Water Stop
Product Introduction
1) Steel Putty Water Stops are compounded of high polymer material and galvanized steel plate.
2) The main material of the steel putty water stop is a kind of rubber material with good aging resistance and good self-adhesive property. This kind of rubber material neither melts at high temperature in summer nor becomes brittle at low temperature in winter. It has good resistance against water, acid, alkali and aging, with long service life. The rubber itself is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
3) Thickness of 0.6 or 0.8mm steel plate is in the middle of rubber sustain bending and pressure.
Construction and Installation Notes:
1) Position the water stops by using steel bars or moulding plates.
Firstly, half of the water stop is casted into the concrete, and the other half will be buried into the concrete during the 2nd phase construction. The water stops should be fixed correctly and firmly in case of any displacement. Take care of and protect the second half of water stop before the second phase starts.
2) Concrete casting
Casting and compacting pressure and methods should be well-controlled when casting concrete, prevent the water stops from damage by the sharp-angled gravels and sharp steel bars in the concrete.
Storage and Transportation Attention:
1) Steel Putty Water Stop are not allowed to be in the open air for long time.
2) Keep the water stops away from the paint or other chemical pollutant..
3) Prevent the water stops from the damages caused by machines or steel bars, etc. during transportation.
4) Construction temperature should be between 15°C to 35°C. Rainy day is not good for doing construction.
Main Application Range
Water stops are mainly used in the construction joints of tunnels,subways, dams, culverts, water and hydroelectric engineering, the basement of the high-rise buildings, underground parking lots, etc.
