The metal lathe is used to remove material form a rotating workpiece, which is held in place on the spindle with a chuck or faceplate. The cutting tool is mounted on the carriage or tailstock and moved against the spinning workpiece to perform the cut.
Typical metal lathe cutting operations include facing, turning, parting, drilling, reaming, grooving, knurling, and threading. There are a wide variety of tools and workpiece holding devices avaliable for each of these operations.
The lathe require setting gearbox dial position and positioning V-belts to select the spindle speed.
The bed way is hardened and ground. It features with super stable accuracy and wel wear-resi sting.
The main spidnle is mounted on 2 precision accuracy taperroller bearings.
The hole through main spindle is 26mm and the highest speed for main spindle is 2000 rpm.
Changing speeds by belt, the machine can operate at low noise.
The bench lathe is a small-size lathe,which is lightweight in structure, convenient in operation and can be mounted on a wooden or iron bench. The lathe can turn small shafts, sleeves and taper workpieces. It can also turn Inch and metric screw threads.
