AIDMER 76-105CG Double Jacketed corrugated gaskets
Double Jacketed plain gaskets//Double Jacketed corrugated gaskets are used with flexible graphite, ceramic fiber, asbestos sheet, and non-asbestos sheet as the filler, jacketed by stainless steel, tinplate, and red copper, etc. kinds of metal thin sheet, which is particularly suitable for high temperature high pressure sealing parts as heat exchanger, and pressure container. It can effectively avoid the gasket from out of shape, and the medium from corrosion, meanwhile it improves pressure resistance. By their sealing efficiently, provided by exerting strong pressure on circular rimes of the flanges, metal-jacketed gaskets can stand up to 30% deviation from the initial thickness, which is very useful in case of irregular or faulty flange rims. The chemical compatibility of the metal and the medium being sealed should be considered.
Application Areas:
Double Jacketed plain gasket and Double Jacketed corrugated gaskets are particularly suitable for sealing flat surfaces of heat exchanges, gas pipes, cast iron flanges, cylinder heads of engines as well as for boilers and other vessels.
