Description:
Calcined Petroleum Coke comes from delayed coke which extracted from oil refinery. Although Calcined Petroleum Coke contains a little bit higher level of sulfur and nitrogen than pitch coke, the price advantage still makes it widely used during steel-making and founding as a kind of carbon additive/carburant.
CHARACTERISTICS:
1.Low impurities.
2.High carbon absorptivity .The natural flake graphite is lubricative, it can be quickly dissolved in the liquid steel , and more than 96% of the carbon can be absorbed. It can save the smelting cost.
APPLICATIONS:
Used as an additive for raising carbon to correct levels in the manufacture of ductile, cast and synthetic irons. Similar application is also used in the manufacture of steel in steel mills.
