The UNI-T UT501 Insulation Resistance can carry out insulation resistance measurements from 100V - 1000V across four different ranges.
In addition this device can also be used to carry out load current tests from 250 - 1000V across four separate ranges and can also generate short circuit current measurements.
The device is housed in a square shaped box that is incredibly easy to use. All your have to do is connect up the included test leads, select which test you want and press the clearly labelled test button to initiate. There are also two other buttons on the device which active the backlight of the LCD display and hold the current value on the screen to allow you to jot it down or show the result to someone else.
