Commonly used types and uses of materials produced by: sealing materials should meet the requirements of sealing function.
In order to meet different application requirements. But on the whole the sealing material shall meet the following requirements:
1) material density is good, not leaking medium;
2) have suitable mechanical strength and hardness;
3) good compressibility and elasticity, permanent deformation is small;
4) does not soften under high temperature, do not decompose, does not harden at low temperatures, do not rattle;
5) corrosion-resistant properties, acid, alkali, oil and other medium and long-term work, their small size and hardness changes without adhesion on metal surfaces;
6) small coefficient of friction, wear resistance is good;
7) has combined with sealing surface softness;
8) good aging resistance, durability;
9) easy to manufacture, cheap, based on easily.
Usually material: NR,SBR,IIR,CR,EPDM, special rubber: Viton (FKM), and VMQ. and so on.
