NanoTronix Combi TDR (Model No.: OMTDR-1000) is a compact andlightweight portable Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) withMetallic Time Domain Reflectometer (MTDR) integrated in one unit tobe used for either optic fiber or metallic cable network.

The OTDR mode can be used for analyzing the physical condition ofoptical fibers in the installation and maintenance of opticalcommunication networks. It provides users with the completeinformation on the attenuation and reflective or non-reflective loss ofoptical fibers so as to locate faults, connectors and splices along thefibers.

The MTDR mode is suitable for installation, maintenance and faultfinding(complete open & short, partial open & short, loading coils, looseconnection, broken lines etc.) of metallic cables whatever consist of atleast two conductors. Its application covers coaxial cables (for CATVand CCTV) and UTP/STP cables (for LAN and Telephone) togetherwith power cables.

NanoTronix Combi TDR (Model No.: OMTDR-1000) will providenetwork installers and maintenance personnel with a complete solutionfor testing, troubleshooting, certifying and documenting the mixednetwork of optical and metallic cables (especially LAN, CATV, HFC andFTTx networks) in any industrial sites.
