Circlips are now widely used in many forms and offer a favourable and inexpensive securing device. They vary from the simple wire ring to the more robust circlip which offers substantial axial thrust.
circlips range are probably the most common form of external axially fitted circlip. They offer continuous radial force and are ideal for applications requiring a strong centrifugal force as well as being secure against high rotational speeds.
Fitting or removal is simplified by the use of Circlip Pliers
The circlip has a large free diameter and gap width, consequently it fits more tightly into the groove and provides higher and more uniform thrust load capacity. Lugs with holes are provided for rapid fitting or removal with circlip pliers
