Target type water flow meter,differential pressure flow meter
Introduction
Target type flow meter is one kind of differential pressure flow meter, it widely used in many industries for quite a few years. With the development of industrial production since ‘60s of century 20, the flow meter which able to measure high viscosity, low Reynolds number application is required urgently. The invention of target type flow meter solved most of the problems. It’s a simple structure, easy install and maintenance, anti-clogging flow meter, mainly using for measuring application with high viscosity and low Reynolds number, as well as application with certain amount of solid particles. Apart from above, target type flow meter can also measure normal liquid, gas and steam.
Features
1) Force sensor is a fixed part, simple and stable structure.
2) Wide measuring range: normal fluid application used in industries, including liquid, gas and steam; large range of bore (greater than DN15); suitable for many working environment (pressure, temperature). It has similar working range like traditional orifice flow meter.
3) High accuracy up to 0.2%.
4) Wide measuring ratio: 4:1 ~ 15:1
5) Solved difficult measuring situation, i.e. fluid with dust and small particles: crude oil, sewage, high-temperature residue, liquid caustic soda, asphalt.
6) It can used for small bore size pipeline (DN15 ~ DN50), low Reynolds number (ReD=103 ~ 5X103) liquid, suitable for those situation which standard throttling device doesn’t work.
7) Measuring high-parameter application, pressure up to 42MPa, temperature up to 500°C.
8) Low pressure loss, half of standard orifice flow meter.
9) Anti-interference of baffles on upstream. Straight pipe required for upstream only 5~10D.
Calibration can be done with weight hanging rather than actual flow. Easy for self-calibration.
