ZXFTL Series High-Temp Boiling Furnace
DESCRIPTION
The boiling furnace is a coal-fired boiler; it is one of a new combustion technology developed in recent years. The boiling furnace is use the technology of "aggregative fluidized bed". When the fluid flows through from the bottom layer of static granular material layer, and if the flow rate exceeds a certain limit, the bulk layer will begins to swell and peristaltic and turn into a false fluid condition. This process is called as bulk layer fluidized. It is similar to the granules after fluidized flip up and down with the fluid, so it is also known as boiling layer. The thermal equipment with this treatment to the material is called Fluidized Bed Furnace.
FEATURES
- This furnace can burn not only high quality coal, but also low grade coal that other furnace cannot burn.
- The heat transfer of the tubes in the fluidized bed is about 5-10 times higher than the ordinary boiler tubes;
- Due to the fluidized bed combustion temperature is low, the NOX generation in the smoke is little, and you can remove the sulfur in coal by adding limestone or dolomite and decrease the content of SO2 in the smoke.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The solid fuel in the furnace was air lifted upward mobility within a certain height range for rolling up and down movement, and burns in the combustion chamber under fluidized (or boiling) condition. It is also known as fluidized bed combustion furnace. The boiling combustion characteristics of solid fuel is not like burning solid fuel in the grate furnace or burning liquid, gas, or powder in the chamber furnace; The fuel of the boiling furnace is broken into powder with certain size so that it can burn in the boiling condition. The coal particle size is usually 8 mm for boiling furnace when using it in China.
