Prosafe RS system named as safety instrumented system (SIS) is Yokogawa’s latest technology, plays a crucial role in ensuring plant safety and draws from our supremely reliable distributed control system (DCS) technology and strong track record in the DCS and SIS.
The safety node unit is connected to the safety control unit. The safety node unit has an interface function to transmit analog input signals and contact signals from the field to the safety control unit via an ESB bus. It also has a function to supply power to I/O modules. The safety node unit is mounted with power supply modules, ESB bus interface modules, optical ESB bus
, epeater modules, and I/O modules; with the blow specifiation:
- Number of Connectable Safety Node Units: Up to 13 safety node units can be connected to SSC60S/SSC60D safety control unit using SEC402 ESB bus coupler module; Up to 9 safety node units can be connected to SSC50S/SSC50D/SSC10S/SSC10D safety control unit using SEC401 ESB bus coupler module.
- Communication Interface: Vnet/IP Interface: Dual-redundant, ESB bus interface: Dual-redundant.
- Power Supply: 100-120 V AC, 220-240 V AC, 24 V DC.
- Mounting: 19-inch Rack Mounting.
Packaging: Carton package for each set and small quanity; additional wooden package for melium and large quanity, depends on total weight.
