Decanter Centrifuge structure and Principle

The discharge screw is inside of the bowl which is without hole, the screw and bowl is with certain rotational speed difference When they fast rotate at same direction and same time. It is caused by the drive system and Differential case. Make suspension into screw cavity through feed pipe, then into bowl with faster speed, under centrifugal force, solid dehydration of the high density settle into the bowl, come to Sediment layer and make sediment to small end of the bowl by discharge screw, then come out of bowl, The clarified liquid come out of bowl through the big end , and finally realize separate liquid and solid of suspension.

Decanter Centrifuge Application Scope    

Discharge decanter is suitable for solid dewatering of suspension, liquid clarification, liquid-liquid-solid separation and Particle classification.( Rigid granules size 0.05-15mm, Concentration 1%-40%, Temperature≤100°C)

Especially for hardness of filter regeneration, separation for big change of concentration and particle. Contra-Flow Type

After mixture of Contra-flow type come into bowl, clarified liquid and sediment run at opposite direction to the exit. Contra-flow type is standard type, match with most kinds of separation.

Cocurrent-Flow Type

After mixture of Cocurrent-flow type come into bowl, clarified liquid and sediment run at same direction, after separation, the clarified liquid inverse flow and discharge through the skimming pipe, avoiding washing sediment when charging. It is more suitable for separation of low Concentration and the material which is hard to separate.

3 Phase Separation Type 

When 2 kinds of different density liquid and 1 kind of solid run into the bowl, Under the action of centrifugal force, solid settled, 2 kinds of liquid with layers, then realize liquid-liquid-solid separation, suitable for liquid-liquid-solid separation which different density.
