Products Description:
CREATE A DUAL-COLOR RED/WHITE LED FIXTURE SIMPLY BY REPLACING THE BULB!
Our super-popular red/white switchable LED bulb is now available in single-contact and double-contact Bayonet for reading lights.
This bulb contains both low-intensity Red LEDs (for maintaining night-vision), and super bright high-intensity Warm White LEDs for reading or for lighting the bunk or cabin. A tiny micro-controller integrated within the bulb itself senses the timing of how you flip your existing switch, and automatically switches between Red and Warm White. There is no separate wiring or 3-way switches needed. Just drop in the bulb and you now have a dual color fixture!
Once the bulb is installed, the lamp will always come on first in the default Red mode (to preserve your night vision). A quick toggle of the existing lamp or wall switch (off-on) switchers the lamp to its high-output Warm White mode (equivalent to a 17W incandescent or 10W halogen).
