Welded gabions are also available in Cylindrical and Sac form with diameters of 0.65m, 0.95m and in lengths of 2.0m and 3.0m

Welded gabion:As early as a few thousand years ago, the Egyptians used woven reed basket, and then filled stones , buried along with the Nile, to resist erosion of the water . Then the Europeans with a wicker basket filled with stones to do the military fortifications and the material to withstand floods. At this moment, the basket from the Italian "Gubbione" get the name "Large Cage" . Mid-nineteenth century, the first commercial network gabion weaving emerged. Mid-twentieth century, stone cage net has undergone reform in a stone cage welding process available.

Welded mesh gabions offer the same flexibility as twisted mesh gabions with greater strength. They are produced from metallic coated welded wire fabric, and metallic coated wire for spiral binders, lacing wire, and stiffeners used to assemble the product. The metallic coated fabric may be polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coated after fabrication. The spiral binders, lacing wire, and stiffeners may be polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coated after metallic coating. Polyvinyl chloride hereinafter will be designed as PVC.
