Principle of RF CO2 Fractional Laser
CO2 Fractional Laser System fires a laser beam which is split into numbers of microscopic beams, producing tiny dot or fractional treatment zones within the selected target area only. Therefore, the heat of laser only passes deeply through the fractional damaged area. This allows the skin to heal much faster than if the whole area was treated. Treatment Principle:
Fractional laser technology is a kind minimal invasive treatment between invasive and noninvasive, which is the latest and hottest skin care technology in USA and it’s also the most often talked about by dermatology community for these two years in the world. It was first published in 2004 by laser medical expert of Harvard University, Dr. Rox Anderson, who based on the Fractional photothermolysis therory. Than it’s immediately recognized by experts all over the world and rapidly applied to clinical treatment. Fractional photothermolysis theory is an extension of traditional Selective Photothermolysis theory. It combines the advantages of invasive treatment and non-invasive treatment, so it is a kind of rapid treatment with prominent effects, little side effects and shorter period of recovery. Fractional laser treatment is by the means of punching evenly tiny holes in the skin by using laser, then arouse a series of biochemical reactions of skin to achieve skin tighteding, skin rejuvenation and pigmentation removal. Fractional laser teratment will only cover part of skin tissues, and the new small holes are not overlapped mutually, so part of normal skin will be retained and speed up to recover. Patient can return to normal lif after 4-5 days.

The CO2 laser with a specific wavelength of 10.6 nm can be absorbed by human body tissue (no matter what color the skin is) by nearly 100%. Through laser emitter, the micropulsed laser beam shoots on the target skin in nanometer level to achieve a controllable precise treatment .The dimension of shooting area only can be measured in nanometer, which is precise enough for operators to control and adjust the treated depth andlayer according to the clinical diagnosis.
